Children’s Giving Gauge
The Children’s Offering collected for the months of January through May will go to Lutheran World Hunger. This is an organization that our church the ELCA uses to address the problem of hunger in our world today. Over the past couple of months I have been reading how COVID-19 and natural disasters have affected people in this country and around the world and one of the big things is the amount of people who don’t have enough to eat.  There is famine in Africa and parts of the Middle East.  Central America was devastated by two hurricanes causing a food shortage because of loss of crop and planting season.  Our Synod is running a fundraiser right now called Seeds for Nicaragua, they are hoping to raise $14,000 for our companion synod in Nicaragua for the purpose that seed can be purchased and crops planted.  In the meantime hunger will be a big issue.
Let us help the children help the world.
Pastor Chris

Over the second half of 2020 the children's rain gauge offering collected $295.00 for Sleep in Heavenly Peace.

Thank you to all!
