Quilting Mondays
The quilting ladies meet most Mondays from 1:00 - 3:00 at Bethesda. If you would like to assemble/tie quilts, please join them! You can also help by sewing tops at home.

Synod-wide Study for the 2025 Bishop Election Process 
Your feedback is requested regarding the current state of the South Dakota Synod, as we prepare for the election of our next bishop. The election for the South Dakota Synod Bishop will be held at the 2025 Synod Assembly. Bishop Constanze Hagmaier has served one term and is eligible for a second term. Please complete the survey and invite others in your context to complete it, too. The survey will close on Wednesday, September 4. We thank you for your attention to this survey and the future of the South Dakota Synod. Questions may be directed to Pastor Cassandra Lamb at [email protected].



Please prayerfully consider helping with Wednesday School for the upcoming year. You choose the length of your commitment. We need help so we can continue to offer a robust program for our youth! Also, we have a Christmas program selected for next year. Please consider helping for a few weeks as we get this ready for performance.

Is there an unmet need in your community that you could impact?  If you’re a Thrivent Financial member, you can lead a Thrivent Action Team to bring people together for a one-time project to help others be wise with money and live generously.
 
You can:
  • Coordinate an educational event
  • Conduct a service activity
  • Organize a fundraiser

  • Resources to help plan the event
  • Promotional items, including Thrivent
T-shirts
  • Community Impact Card with $250 seed money
  • 101 ideas to stimulate creativity
  • Member stories about experiences with Thrivent Action Teams
 
The Guidelines:
  • Involve others for greater impact
  • Use seed money for project supplies and promotional materials
  • There is one Action Team for each project
  • Report by sharing stories, photos, and participant information
 
Each Thrivent member is eligible to lead two Thrivent Action Teams per calendar year.
